REFUND POLICY

1. Withdrawal with Cause:  The Student shall be entitled to immediately withdraw from the Course by giving written notice to MBTS of his/her intention to do so under the following circumstances:

(i) that MBTS fails, for any reason, to commence the Course on the Commencement Date;
(ii) that MBTS fails, for any reason, to complete the Course by the Completion Date;
(iii) that MBTS terminates the Course for any reason prior to the completion of the Course; or
(iv) that MBTS is in material breach of its obligations under this Agreement.

2. Refunds for Withdrawal for Cause:  MBTS shall, as soon as practicable after receiving the student’s of notice of Withdrawal with Cause and in any event no more than fourteen (14) days after receiving such notice, refund to the student:
(i) the entire amount of the Tuition Fees and Deposit; and
(ii) the Non-Tuition Fees and/or Additional Fees*

3. Withdrawal Without Cause and Refunds:  Where the Student withdraws from the Course Without Cause for any reason other than those set out in Item 2.1 above, MBTS shall, as soon as practicable after receiving the Student’s written notice of withdrawal (and in any event no more than fourteen (14) working days after receiving such notice) refund to the Student the Deposit, Tuition Fees and/or Additional Fees paid (less all such deductions which MBTS is entitled to make) in accordance to the table below and less any applicable bank administrative charges properly paid/payable:

STUDENT PROTECTION SCHEME

MBTS confirm herewith and undertake to the Student that it has in place a Student Protection Scheme as stipulated by the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) by way of a Student Tuition Fee Account (Escrow) pursuant to the terms and conditions of the CASE-MBTS Agreement dated 16 February 2005 made between CASE and Manhanttan Business Training School.

MASTER ESCROW AGREEMENT

We have established an Master Escrow Agreement dated 9 Sept 2004 with the Development Bank of Singapore Ltd (DBS) under the followings:

STUDENT CONTRACT

Effective from 1 December 2004, all international Students are required to enter into a Standard Student Contract with the school. This is part of the requirement of CaseTrust and shall be applicable to all Students who enroll into MBTS.
